Basic Course ISO 19011/17021

This course provides knowledge of regulations ISO 17021 and ISO 19011 and enables candidates to carry out Management System Audits (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at work).
This is a basic course that, when done, allows candidates to access the specialized 24 –hour courses.

The course enables the candidates:

  • To provide elements for interpretation of regulations and audit plan set-up;
  • To plan and manage evaluation and monitoring visits;
  • To improve communication techniques in the audit phase.

The final exam consists of various tests and it results in an accredited certificate for those who pass it. Otherwise, all the participants will be given an attendance certificate.
Appropriate candidates are:

  • Staff proposed to carry out internal/external audit of Quality, Environment, Health and Safety at work Systems;
  • Technicians, professionals and consultants;
  • Evaluators or technical experts who work in Certification sectors;
  • University graduates;
  • Those who want to start working in consultancy sector related to Management Systems.

  • Objective evidence;
  • Audit as interpersonal relationship;
  • Interview techniques;
  • Remark lists;
  • Non-conformities and observations;
  • Corrective and preventive actions;
  • Closing meeting;
  • Final report. Preparation, contents, distribution, filing and confidentiality in the final report;
  • Follow-up actions: audit repetition, surveillance, corrective actions supervision;
  • Competencies and characteristics of an auditor;
  • Auditor competencies certification and accredited registers.

Minimum requirements for candidates:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Basic knowledge of the regulation
